Laugh

  • "a performer of virtuoso authority and skill ... mad and brilliant show" Emma Love, The Guardian
  • "Laugh is magical" Pieter T'Jonck, De Morgen
  • "I would defy even the most serious not to leave this skilful, feel good work without a smile on their face." Jennifer Teale, Londonist
  • "good for a giggle!" Anna McNamee, The Strand, BBC

"I like to laugh. I laugh often. I am often seen laughing."

Laugh is a highly entertaining piece about laughing as laughing.
Standing alone on stage Baehr begins to laugh, without reason, and allows the audience to take in the qualities of laughter that would normally go unnoticed; its sound, rhythm, music and drama. Though comedy might not strictly be Baehr's goal, inevitably the laughter soon begins to infect the whole auditorium...

A cult hit on the European arts scene, this is the Wales' premiere of the show.

Antonia Baehr is an acclaimed German choreographer, director, performer and filmmaker who co-founded the Berlin-based performance group 'ex machinis'.

Suitable for all the family from 7 yrs up.
